๐ŸŒปMeet Cat!โค๏ธ
โ€œI started in the local church hall improvising shows for the elderly as they had their post church cups of tea! (I'm a Little Puppet on Strings' was a banger, trust me ๐Ÿ˜‚) My love of performing was sparked by my primary school teacher Miss Evans who was a huge inspiration, along with my Nain who once won the equivalent of a Welsh Tony for Am Dram! I then spent my adult life in and around television (for work) and theatre - I studied performing arts at University, went to drama school, did fringe theatre in London then moved to Penzance after falling for my Cornish co-star in London!
I performed Beckett in Penlee Park in 2018, then was lured back to the stage in 2024 when I saw an advert for Blithe Spirit with PZMTC and I have never looked back! It's brilliant to work with such a talented and passionate group of people, who want to put on the best show they can.
I am loving playing Ruth in Calendar Girls. Meek, mousey and married to 'her Eddie' who is the worst character you don't get to see in the whole musical! Ruth's character arc across the show is transformative and uplifting and will hopefully have you rooting for her!โ€
See Cat as Ruth in our production of Calendar Girls the Musical!
